On Friday 3^rd July, our London team took on a 21.1km walk following the London Landmarks route in support of Cure Parkinson’s.

The team began their journey at Downing Street passing London’s most iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, The London Eye, Tower of London and St Pauls Cathedral before ending the half marathon in Trafalgar Square.

Over the course of the five-hour challenge, the team proudly represented Cure Parkinson’s, standing out in their bright orange charity T-shirts as they made their way through the city. Encouraged by cheers and words of support from members of the public, team morale remained high from start to finish.

Together, the Craven Street Wealth team, Managing Director, Caroline Hawkesley; Financial Planning Director, David Thornberry; Financial Planner, James Griggs; the Client services team, Amy Jones, Kane Lawrence & Hash Varsani, Management Accountant, Becky Ley, and colleagues from the Quanta Group, Group CEO, Patrick Mill; Group Chief Financial Officer, Graeme De Moor; Group Chief Operating Officer, Harriet Griffin; and Group People Director, Elizabeth Holder, raised an incredible £4,098 in support of Cure Parkinson’s.

Founded in 2005 by four people living with Parkinson’s, Tom Isaacs, Sir Richard Nichols, Air Vice Marshal Michael Dicken and Sir David Jones, Cure Parkinson’s was established to accelerate research focused on slowing, stopping and ultimately reversing the progression of Parkinson’s disease. Today, the charity continues to fund pioneering research with the aim of finding a cure.
