On 18 September, colleagues from Craven Street Wealth’s Kent region will take part in Vanguard’s Tough Mudder Takeover, alongside colleagues from Pharon IFA, in support of YoungMinds UK.
The team will take on Tough Mudder’s 5K obstacle course, putting their strength, stamina and resilience to the test across a series of challenging obstacles.
Representing Craven Street Wealth’s Kent region, Bethany Turton; Tim Maakestad; Kim Williams; Georgia Bulbrook; Daniel Robertson; Katie Smith; Becca Hollis; Ruth Tomkin Munro; Danny Stiles; Alisha Lipscombe; Jonny Solley; Davey Marsh and Amy Jones will be taking part in the Tough Mudder challenge joined by colleagues from Pharon IFA, including Nick O’Shea; Kyron Rolfe; Raymond Fletcher; Jack Mercer & Jay Newman.
Taking on Tough Mudder
Tough Mudder is a series of endurance-based, team-focused obstacle course events designed to test physical strength, stamina and mental grit rather than speed.
The 5K course combines a range of obstacles with mud and water, requiring participants to work together to navigate the course and overcome each challenge. From climbing and crawling to tackling water-based obstacles, the course is designed to test participants both physically and mentally.
Unlike a traditional race, Tough Mudder places an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration rather than competition. Participants work together throughout the course, supporting one another to reach the finish line and earn the event’s signature orange headband.
Supporting YoungMinds UK
Alongside taking on the challenge, the team will be raising money for YoungMinds, the UK’s leading charity fighting for children and young people’s mental health.
YoungMinds UK works to support young people and their families, improve access to mental health support and campaign for change across the mental health system.
