Talking about money and financial planning doesn’t need to be complicated or intimidating.

On Friday 9 October, Craven Street Wealth is delighted to be joining The Female Finance Session at Peterley Manor Farm, a relaxed and practical workshop designed to help women feel more informed and confident about their finances and future.

Taking place from 9.30am-11.30am, the small-group session will be led by Lorraine Jones-Knott, Chartered Financial Planner & Senior Manager, alongside Tom Griffiths, Chartered Financial Planner from Craven Street Wealth.

Financial confidence at every stage

Women in particular can face different financial challenges throughout their lives. Career breaks, maternity leave, caring responsibilities and periods of part-time work can affect earnings and pension savings, while longer life expectancy can mean planning for a longer retirement.

Major life events can also bring finances into sharper focus; whether starting or growing a family, changing career, receiving an inheritance, going through divorce or separation, approaching retirement or thinking about later life.

The session will provide an opportunity to consider topics including pensions and retirement, savings and investments, making your money work harder, protecting yourself and your family, and planning for important life changes.

Rather than a formal presentation, the morning will be shaped around the questions that matter to those attending. Guests can submit questions in advance, creating an approachable environment in which to hear practical guidance, ask questions and build greater confidence around their financial future.

A morning at Peterley Manor Farm

We are particularly pleased to be holding the session at Peterley Manor Farm, a family-run farm and wellbeing destination in the Chiltern Hills near Great Missenden.

Alongside its farm shop, café and pick-your-own, Peterley hosts a varied programme of experiences and events throughout the year, from food and seasonal events to creative workshops and wellbeing activities.

Our Female Finance Session will take place in The Shed, with coffee and cake included, providing an informal setting for conversation and questions.
