Colleagues from Craven Street Wealth and Pharon IFA swapped the office for mud, obstacles and plenty of teamwork as they took on Vanguard’s Tough Mudder Takeover on the Holmbush Estate in Crawley on Friday 18 September.

Bringing together colleagues from across both businesses, the team tackled a demanding 5km obstacle course packed with mud, water, climbing challenges and team-based obstacles designed to test physical strength, endurance and mental resilience.

The event came at an exciting time for Craven Street Wealth and Pharon as our teams continue to come together. Away from the day-to-day work of integration, it provided a great opportunity for colleagues from across both businesses to work together in a very different environment, strengthen relationships and, most importantly, raise money for a fantastic cause.

Together, the team has raised an incredible £1,509 for YoungMinds, a UK charity fighting for a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health.

YoungMinds provides young people with practical tools and information to help them look after their mental health, while supporting parents, carers and other adults to be there for the young people in their lives. The charity also works to ensure young people’s voices are heard and that they can access the mental health support they need, when they need it.

Supporting our communities and giving something back is important to both Craven Street Wealth and Pharon. Colleagues across both businesses regularly support charities and community organisations through fundraising, volunteering and taking part in challenges such as this one.

YoungMinds is a cause particularly close to us this year. Earlier in the summer, Craven Street Wealth Chartered Financial Planner Richard Cole, alongside two friends, completed an incredible 42 mile walk in support of the charity, raising more than £11,000 and helping to raise awareness of young people’s mental health.
